THANK YOU LETTER FROM THE HARIBON FOUNDATION

Dearest Friend

Warm Greetings. On behalf of Haribon Foundation, I would like to thank you so much for being part of the tree planting activity. We greatly appreciate your being there at the planting site, waking up early and traveling to Cavinti, Laguna and bearing the heat of the sun just to be able to plant. Your commitment and effort, alongside with many others who gave up their Saturday to assist us, is helping us to restore one million hectares of Philippine rainforests using native tree species by the year 2020.

For your ingformation, the native seedlings planted were igyo, marang, narra, makaasim, alibangbang, batino, bitaong and lanite.

The Rainforest Organizations and Advocates (ROAD) to 2020 movement aims to plant native tree species in order to recover and conserve biodiversity, optimize our supply of forest benefits and ecosystem services, reduce the risks of natural hazards such as landslides, and enhance options for sustainable livelihood.

Please help us get more donations for this movement. The proceeds will go to the protection, maintenance and monitoring of the native trees and nursery by our community partners. The donations also help sustain restoration and conservation activities related to ROAD to 2020.

Without people like you, our efforts would be in vain so we are sincerely grateful to you for all your help.

We will be holding more tree planting activities and other events over the year and would like to keep you informed about these and any other news and developments as they happen. Therefore, we trust that you do not have any objections to us sending you a ‘news update’ e-mail periodically as developments occur.

We at Haribon look forward to your continuing support and we wish to form and strengthen positive personal relationships among all supporters.

Once again, on behalf of us all at Haribon Foundation, thank you for your continuing support.

Yours in conservation
